Jenny McMillen, Age 28 - Canadian and Torontian.

My love for illustrating would come from my love for stories, all kinds of it but mostly from gaming, graphic novels and animation. You couldn't separate the two elements from one another at times.

What I do in my work is to always have a fun factor, to bring a smile or laugh to anyone and to bring it into a mix of some seriousness as well, to challenge the viewer or to think harder about it. I find my favourite works are slightly abstract and curvy contours, colourful vibrancies and dramatic values. It has been commented as soft, romantic and cheerful by friends, visitors and family.

I'm seeking work in the Toronto area right now to freelance with my illustrator skills.
